  • my office hours, see syllabus for schedule. You should come to office hours! I’m happy to answer questions about the material, help you study, or go over homework problems.
  • Weekly recitations. TAs will help you and answer your questions.
  • Review the notes posted on the main page.

University Resources

  • STEM tutoring center. You can find the schedule for the PHY 114 tutors here, and instructions to sign up for an appointment here.

The internet

  • Use your textbook OpenStax University Physics vol. 2. It’s available for free online.
  • If you’re struggling with a concept, look it up on youtube. I particularly like videos from 3blue1brown and Flipping Physics.
  • For a quick reference, there isn’t anything better than hyperphysics. Unfortunately they lost their security certification a few years ago so they don’t show up in google search if you don’t ask for them specifically.
